***************UPDATED*****************
This weekend a group of us drove to Pennsylvania to see our friend get married.
A Green became a Weeks.
ps. The groom isn't standing on a chair- he's really that tall!
There were balloons. 'BOONS!' Enough said.
Chris and I got our exercise in just by running after a very excited little boy. All night. He didn't stop!
Charles sure knows how to take over a room, and a dance floor! He even danced the Macarena with the best of 'em!
On the way in we passed a Weis grocery store. Ah, Weis- you are what a grocery store should be!
We first discovered Weis a few years ago when we went to Maryland to visit family. We were so happy to see one in PA! We made plans right away to stop there on the way out of town.
You see, they have things we can't get in New York such as..
That Whoppers Syrup made our friend Charlie so happy! He wanted to buy two but decided to just get one. He was so excited about it I picked one up and am going to save it and give it as part of his wedding gift this summer when he gets married. It's the little things, really.
Who knew Chips Ahoy came in Reese's and Heath??
TastyKake. A whole shelf full.
There were so many other wonders that we passed before I realized I should take out my camera and document our trip to Weis. Please don't think we were only there for the junk food. ha.
It's not just the food either- it's the spaciousness, and cleanliness, the neatly and fully stocked shelves.
And the rides in the grocery carts! Ok, Charles rides in the grocery carts here in Brooklyn too :)
Dear Weis,
I am so happy we found you! You make the grocery stores in NYC so pale in comparison to your clean isles, fully stocked shelves, neatly lined products, and wide variety of food. Even though we only came away with a few items we are so glad we could walk your isles and admire your goodness. Why must you be so far away from us? Don't you love us too? I hope we can see you again soon!
Thank you Weis. For everything.
